Health disclaimer
Last updated 11 September 2026
Read this before you start. It is the same thing the books say on page one, and it is not boilerplate — some of it may apply to you.
This is education, not medical advice
Christiana Marie is not a doctor, dietitian, or licensed healthcare professional, and nothing published by [TRADING ENTITY — e.g. "Jane Doe, trading as Why Not Losing Weight"] is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The books explain how body-fat distribution and fat loss generally work, and set out an approach a generally healthy adult can follow. That is all they do.
No page on this site and no chapter in any book creates a doctor–patient or practitioner–client relationship. Information here is general: it cannot account for your medical history, medications, bloodwork, or anything else a professional who can actually examine you would take into account.
Who these books are written for
Generally healthy adults aged 18 or over who want to understand why fat in one area is slower to shift than the rest, and what a sensible plan looks like.
Who should talk to a professional first
Please work with a doctor or registered dietitian — alongside this material, not instead of it — if any of the following applies to you:
- You have PCOS, a thyroid condition, diabetes, or any other condition that affects your weight, appetite, or metabolism.
- You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- You are recovering from surgery, or have had bariatric or other weight-related surgery.
- You are under 18.
- You have any history of disordered eating, or a current or past eating disorder.
- You take prescription medication that affects weight, blood sugar, appetite, or fluid balance.
- You have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or any condition affecting your ability to exercise safely.
Your doctor outranks any PDF, including ours. If their advice and this book disagree, follow your doctor.
If you are struggling with your relationship with food or your body, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local eating-disorder support service. That is a better first step than any book about fat loss, and there is no shame in it.
No promised results
We do not promise any specific outcome, amount of fat loss, or timeframe, and you should treat anyone in this industry who does with suspicion. Results depend on genetics, starting point, health status, consistency, sleep, stress, medication and a good deal of individual variation nobody can predict from a website.
Any reader comment published on this site is one person’s experience. It is not typical, not a guarantee, and not evidence that you will experience the same thing.
Before you change how you eat or train
Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, exercise, or supplementation programme — particularly if you have an existing condition or take medication. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, dizziness, fainting, severe or persistent pain, or any symptom that worries you.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not wait, and do not email us.
